As a manufacturer of aluminium climbing equipment such as mobile scaffolds, room scaffolds, ladders and stairs, Euroscaffold makes an important contribution to Corporate Social Responsibility. We carry responsibility for the environment, staff and people in the vicinity of our factory.
CSR, i.e. Corporate Social Responsibility pertains to operations. It involves taking into account People, Environmentand Profit. These three spearheads can be applied in the broadest sense of the word.
Some examples of CSR as applied by Euroscaffold:

  • Hiring staff with reduced labour market opportunities, with a work disability or disadvantage

  • Offering a safe and clean workplace

  • Providing staff with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Retraining staff with training, courses and education

  • Using sustainable (green) energy at the factory

  • Separating waste (such as paper and plastic)

Recycling aluminium

Converting bauxite (raw material for aluminium) to aluminium takes a lot of electricity. . But almost all aluminium can be recycled without loss of quality and for less than 5 percent of the energy it takes to generate the metal from scratch. As a result, aluminium can be considered a sustainable material. In addition, aluminium is easy to process, lightweight and strong.
